Practice Update
These last 10 years of practicing integrative gastroenterology at IBS & Gut Microbiome Solutions have been the happiest of my nearly 50 years serving as a gastroenterologist. My intention had been to continue seeing new patients for at least several more years.
Despite never smoking, I was diagnosed with lung cancer (adenocarcinoma) in early January, 2025. Surgery in February removed all evident cancer. Based on the stage IIIb pathology report, chemotherapy was recommended to eradicate any MRD (minimal residual disease) or microscopic cancer. I completed treatment and have regained most of my sense of well-being and energy.
As an update, I will continue to care for my existing patients but will no longer see new patients because of my “uncertain prognosis,” even though followup imaging and “liquid biopsy” blood testing for MRD nearly one year out are negative.
Nevertheless, I’m convinced I’m either cured or will remain in deep remission indefinitely, in large measure because of a dietary supplement called Salvestrol® Platinum, which I’ll continue to take for the rest of my life.
I urge anyone in North America interested in cancer prevention and/or adjunctive cancer treatment complementing standard management to learn more on my new website:
I learned of this dietary supplement from my friend, Bill “Tooth” Montooth, whose recovery can be attributed to taking it. We are the new North American distributors (North America Naturals, LLC for Salvestrol Platinum and 3 other dietary supplements from Naturally Pure Products Limited scheduled to be available within the next 30 days or so. A short explanatory PDF slide presentation will be posted on the new North America Naturals, LLC website soon, along with an Advanced Review Copy or ARC of a new book scheduled for publication early 2026.
I also call your attention to a new web page here I have recently published (Aging & Cancer), where I describe the Fasting Mimicking Diet or FMD and dietary supplement, Salvestrol Platinum that have played an important role in my cancer treatment and recovery.
Take care of yourselves,

For Your Gut
For decades, physicians have commonly used colonoscopy to rule out the existence of a digestive disorder. If the colonoscopy is “normal,” the patient is told everything is “ok.”
But the patient still suffers.
Now we have scientific evidence that digestive disorders can be identified noninvasively and successfully treated using breath, blood, and stool testing.
There are few practitioners who are skilled and experienced in this exciting, burgeoning field.
I am one of them.
When digestive disorders are left untreated, your gut protects and defends by igniting an immune-mediated inflammation. Unfortunately, the intestinal fire burns out of control contributing to major gut symptoms. Even more unfortunately …
