Practice Update
These last 9 years of practice at IBS & Gut Microbiome Solutions have been the happiest of my nearly 50 years serving as a gastroenterologist. My intention is to continue for several more years.
Unfortunately, and I hope temporarily, I must immediately stop seeing new patients to focus on my health. Despite never having smoked, I have been diagnosed with lung cancer. It is likely I will require surgery and perhaps chemotherapy. I will re-evaluate my commitment to my practice in mid-March.
In the meantime, I will do my best to complete the evaluation and care plans of new patients recently seen.
I will also do my best to continue to care for existing patients.
I strongly recommend reading my book, You’re on Fire, if you have not already done so.
Take care of yourselves,

There are few practitioners who are skilled and experienced in this exciting, burgeoning field.
I am one of them.
When digestive disorders are left untreated, your gut protects and defends by igniting an immune-mediated inflammation. Unfortunately, the intestinal fire burns out of control contributing to major gut symptoms. Even more unfortunately …
